I feel like I have to write SOMETHING but I’ve been in somewhat of a rut lately. Not just in terms of NMB, but in terms of Japanese study as well as… well, life in general.
But I don’t want to burden you with my problems. You 2 fans aren’t interested in that. You guys are more interested in being burdened with NMB’s problems, haha.
Couple things I noticed on the G+ airwaves:
-Momoka is nutty, but also serious.
(Turn your speakers down for this one. It freaked me out when I watched in the middle of the night with headphones on loud.)
That kind of reaction is just… strange yet hilarious, fake yet real. Love it.
She then posted her reaction on being entered into the senbatsu for NMB48’s 4th single, a very serious post where she questions her own character. She’s really not anywhere near what I’d call a stereotypical Japanese idol, but she’s just herself. A crazy, self-named hentai who loves guro (bloody artwork), not that cute, aspires to be a NEET when she grows up, etc. She obviously felt stressed that she was chosen over people who would fit the image better, but she’s happy that she made it.
I think she’s insane, but there’s a certain intelligence to her insanity. You can’t be as crazy as her without having intelligence, i think.
-The other Kinoshita
She got work on an NHK radio drama. Very cool. Part of me thinks I should’ve been a better kid at 13, so when I see kids accomplish and work hard towards their dreams when they’re 13 and not be stupid, I’m both jealous and respectful. This is probably why I continue to cheer on the loli of Team N.
-Fun pictures and videos
Kanakichi’s Kyonshi (Chinese ghost/vampire/poltergeist thingy) impressions:
The Laughing Club:
Following NMB48 on G+ has never been more entertaining with stuff like this.
-Nana’s 20th birthday
Usually when someone’s birthday happens in AKB/NMB land, they get a shoutout from another member sometimes.
I’m not sure if it’s because it’s Nana’s 20th (the equivalent of the American 21st), but she got tons of pictures and comments from most of the members. Pretty cool to see. After translating that article from Complete Book I have more respect for her, simply because I didn’t understand how busy she was. I always assumed she was the least busy of the Top 3 because she didn’t have as many appearances on TV, but I’m not sure that’s correct anymore.
Aaaaand that’s all for today. Or at least as much as I can handle today, haha.
I’ll see if I can get that request for Ainyan’s article started tomorrow…
