So not only is this the last episode but it’s also the last we’ll see of Jou.
Tears galore. Jou was steadily improving. No doubt she had a lot of potential. I just don’t get it. It frustrates me.
Anyway, on to the episode.
We start off with some weird battle. Apparently Nana’s rap was a parody of a comedian routine from Joyman. You can check it here. Of course, I didn’t know what it was either at first. It makes me wonder how many jokes I’ve missed throughout the entire show. Oh well. The best part about this routine are the reactions from Kimoshita, Hitomi, and Shu. They’re trying so hard to look pissed off but they’re all laughing. For our variety portion we a “hilarious news reports” section. Ainyan starts off with “I’m reporting on literally the top of Tokyo Sky Tree!” I feel like her emotion needs some work. Like she knows what to say, but she doesn’t know how to say it. Guess what Hitomi does? What’s funny is that Iwao calls her “Hitomi-san” because he forgot her last name… it’s also Yamamoto. Kimoshita gives the best one, IMO. Nana uses a dirty joke “Hey, stop touching me, let’s kiss later… Oh. We’re in the middle of some XX stuff so hold on please,” and Maachun says something like “I’m in America and a wild lion is loose and it’s going “ROAR!” but don’t mind that. Let’s go to the real report.” I hate saying “replacement” but man, Shu’s smile is a match for Jou. They would’ve made an awesome pair. Overall a good end. Man. I have to say end. This show was too good. I’m going to miss it.
The next part features a joke I probably didn’t understand because Jou starts filming and I don’t know what she’s referencing. But it’s okay because manzai is up next. The manzai was basically as follows:
-Milky is the cute one and Sayaka is the sharp (referring to her face) scary one.
-They talk about moving to Tokyo and living by themselves.
-Milky wants a 1LDK, which usually refers to a unit that has a living room, dining room, and a kitchen, but she thinks it’s Living Dondongaeshi Kitchen, which means that the living room turns into a kitchen, it also means “sudden reversal.”
-Milky wants UB, not Unit Bath but uguisobari? I think? I think it’s like a bird or something. I dunno. My Japanese sucks.
-Milky thinks LA stands for L’arc en. (Where’s the Ciel?, Sayaka asks.) But then she says Los Angeles, and then Milky says Los Angeles in an American accent, haha.
-Last is Milky’s 1SK, which is living with a Sayaka. And then she brings back the Dondongaeshi. Heh.The story is pretty boring. Sayaka fights with Milky because she thinks she messed up and then they reconcile. Sayaka runs into Gotou and he teaches her the (Japanese?) blues, so Sayaka goes off on random things like thinking something is black but it’s really dark navy blue. Which reminds me of when I bought the Milky New Year’s shirt and I thought it was white but it’s like, skin colored.
Also of note is this joke about squeezing lemons. After consulting Mr. 48-family, it turns out that it’s a euphemism for jacking off. Then on 2ch, someone made a thread saying “I hate it when someone squeezes their lemons on the fried chicken at the bar.” Then, someone made a joke thread and there was a weird fan story joke about Sayaka squeezing lemons for Fresh Lemon. THEN, Milky G+’d to Sayaka saying, “She squeezed her lemons on my fried chicken.” Yep.
So they hug and make up because Milky overhears her, and Sayaka’s last blues is “I’m sad because I’m blaming others for my own problem.”Milky starts crying. “It’s not that sad, is it?” “No, it’s because your chin is sharp and hitting my shoulder.”
Then they get geared up for JK-1! They huddle up! We got this!
“But it’s actually next week.”
Perfect ending for such a silly show. But man, it’s over. Now I need something new to watch…
